Monte Castelo is a song by the Brazilian rock band Legião Urbana launched in the album “As Quatro Estações” (The four seasons). Monte castelo by Legião Urbana

Even If I spoke

The men’s language

And if I spoke the angel’s language

With no love I would be nothing

Only Love! Only Love

Knows what the truth is

Love is good, and does not want the wickedness

It does not have neither envy nor vanity

Love is fire that burns without seeing

It is a wound that hurts and is not felt

It is a disgruntled contentment

It is pain that maddens without aching

It is not to want more than wanting

It is alone wandering among us

It is not being content for being content

It is the care that is gotten for losing

It is being locked for Its own free will

It is giving to the one who wins the winner

It is having loyalty for those who kill us

And so contrary to itself is the love

I am awake and everybody sleeps

Everybody sleeps, everybody sleeps

Now I see in parts

And so we will see face to face

Only Love! Only Love

Knows what the truth is

Even If I spoke

The men’s language

And if I spoke the angel’s language

With no love I would be nothing
